Velours

Velours (Seb Moreau) comes from the indie rock scene and spent many years as the guitarist for Philippe Katerine—who also appears in the video for “Paris.” Together, they recorded and arranged Katerine’s self-titled album Philippe Katerine, featuring iconic songs such as “La Banane,” “Les Bisous,” and “Moustache,” followed by an epic tour lasting over two years across France and Europe.

Velours and Katerine later collaborated on the radio show La Langue à l’Oreille for France Inter, where Velours created the sound design and composed an original piece for each episode. He has since toured with numerous artists, including Arielle Dombasle, Julien Baer, Gregori Czerkinski, and La Secte Humaine.

For his first solo project, Velours released a five-track EP blending cosmic poetry, pop vocals, and airy psychedelic rock, with mixing by Julien Delfaud and mastering by Chab. A live tour followed beginning in January 2020.
